This evolving body of work is me telling my childhood memories in pictures.
As a child, we would spend holidays in the summer by the coast. Norfolk, Sussex, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall. Memories that have and will last a lifetime.
8 years in the making and still a working project, I hope to have this completed in 2 more summers.
Visual Noise Collective project.
This short term collective project, was for us members to explore the human impact on nature. In the time frame we had set ourselves, this was no easy task. Being honest we haven’t even began to scratch the surface.
But with that said, we didn’t have to travel far to see even the smallest impacts.
I’m considering to reignite this project, and expand further and delve deeper.
A ‘Visual Noise Collective’ project
This short term project was our first collective project in 2019/20.
The assignment was short and simple. Document your immediate surroundings to where we each lived.
This small body of work was taken in a one week time frame where we used to live in East Berkshire.
This project evolved in to a working project for where i now live in Oxfordshire.
I’ve been shooting Street Photography for almost 10 years. I can’t say I do it very often but learning how to create images spontaneously in those early days helped me get to where I am today for Editorial work.
Classic portraiture by Lewis Baker
I have been taking portraits and shooting fashion for almost 10 years.
I have been commissioned privately for model’s portfolios, fashion designers and for head shots.
My style and approach to portraiture is simplicity. I prefer to have a talk and get to know the subject before the camera is even out of the bag. Just helps settle everyone’s nerves and this reflects in the final results.
