Every now and then you meet someone with the right attitude to go far...  

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with Tyla.

I’ve wanted to work with Tyla for quite sometime and we finally managed to get it done. As always, if you read my blog you’ll know that most shoots are arranged with little to no planning for styling.
This shoot was much the same but at least this time I put together a small moodboard for styling and Tyla pulled it off.

I say it each time I write a post of a shoot that this is how I roll when arranging shoots. I’d rather the model be comfortable and just have a relaxed shoot. Always brings the best out in people.

Tyla is a young agency signed model, who before I’d met thought that she could go a long way in the modelling industry. She has a look that reminds me of Kate Moss… I know some will disagree but I recognized it straight away. She was so easy to work with, happy to take direction (Not that I really had to), and knew what I was going for.

Every shoot I go on I talk… And after talking to Tyla for a short while it was plain to see her ambitions in this industry.

Tyla’s attitude and work ethic is admirable… She has a solid head on her shoulders and knows the steps to get to where she wants, and how she wants to go about it. Too many people hit the big time so quick then fall. I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing her in the top publications in the future!
